This is turning out to be a good post-apocalyptic road trip story filled with superhero surprises and crazy twists. Avengers of the Wastelands is like if Mad Max was using the Marvel Encyclopedia as its source material. It's from the mind of a maniac who loves superheroes. Read Full Review

Some great art here and it is not too dark and has some interesting character designs. The Mad Max aesthetic of the raiders works well and everyone seems to be using patched together technology. Read Full Review

Artist Jonas Scharf is at his best when drawing the grotesque and monstrous, luckily he gets a chance to do that here more than once. Read Full Review

Hulks size kept throwing me, his ratios seemed strange like does he get smaller when angry? I thought the blood hungry Cap was great and an interesting Character. The failed F4 was cool too. Not sure I care for the upcoming undead villain thing but seeing how well this story and artist has captured the actions sequences it should be stupid fun at very least.

This was pretty good. I like when they broach the weird side of Old Man Logan's world.

Fake Cap's origin story (he's a rebellious Doom lackey) is the highlight of this first installment of the heroes' weird west road trip. The plot's logical and the pace is good, but nothing here really hooked me.
