Carnage #6 takes a quick, superfluous, but also entertaining detour into Venom's multiverse before delivering another solid chapter of its crime thriller plotline. Read Full Review

I think I would have liked this a lot more if it was on its own and not a part of the Symbiosis Necrosis crossover. I feel as though this started out continuing that storyline, but it ended up going in a different direction. I didn't dislike it on its own, but I was left a little confused as to how this was the end of a four-part story. The art was pretty good all throughout this, also.

Carnage settles back onto Cletus, Flash thinks his way out of the box Carnage stuffed him in, and, barring a few pages of meditation on the meaning of the crossover, business as usual resumes.

The art is still sharp and nasty. The characterization is subtle but intense. But the plot, which was already suffering from a lack of momentum before the crossover, needs a SERIOUS jumpstart, and it hasn't gotten it yet.
