A FIGHT AGAINST MADNESS!
The new symbiotic monstrosity called Madness inadvertently forced Liz Allan to bond to the all-new MISERY symbiote, changing both her life and the world of the symbiotes FOREVER! Imbued with all the powers and personalities of the LIFE FOUNDATION SYMBIOTES (and more!), Madness is a symbiotic force unlike any other in the Marvel Universe. There is nowhere that Liz Allan can go where Madness cannot follow, no one she can ask for help who Madness cannot destroy and nothing she can do to stop the brutality of its onslaught.

There are some immediate threats and Spider-Man is nearby, but presenting Liz's story in a new light ultimately leaves Cult of Carnage: Misery feeling like another iteration of Liz's cycle of suffering to support other narratives. Read Full Review
I really liked this. I'm glad that Queen Cat is back too.
I think I get the point of this issue to be to sum up all of Liz's life to accept that Harry was an abuser and that her life sucks so she should just embrace the misery?
While I do appreciate her inner mental state explained so as to justify why she is able to bond/fully bond with Misery instead of being consumed by it, I just wish it was done a little better.
All that being said, I love how the first page of the book is literally panels from the very beginning of her life to the day she married Harry. Loved seeing all the old art. Waves of nostalgia.
Corwin loosing control of Madness can only bring problems. Issue 5 should at least be interesting.
Overall, it was ok but spent way too much tim more
