BUCKET LIST Part 1
Deadpool has a lot of unfinished business in his inbox, and he's determined to take care of it before...any sort of bad and permanent-ish thing happens to him. Revenge on Stevil Rogers? Settling things with Rogue? Oh, and doesn't he still need to kill a few more folks? It's time to get Wade's affairs in order. You know, just in case...

This is still Marvel's most consistently great book, by far. Read Full Review
This is the perfect comic for anybody who was feeling Deadpool fatigue but still have a soft spot in their heart for the mouthy merc'. Read Full Review
Deadpool is not the hero of this story. He's not acting like one and the acts he commits in it solidify that fact. This is a pretty tense issue with some great back and forth with HYDRA Steve. Read Full Review
The Despicable Deadpool #292 delivers classic humor and momentous dialogue, but is lacking in overall substance. Luckily, this doesn't impede the enjoyable pacing or diminish the reveal at the end. This is a hilarious Deadpool issue that promises so much more on the horizon. Read Full Review
After having trouble getting excited about the last story arc, this continuation has me right away. Deadpool confronts evil Steve Rodgers trying to get revenge for the events of Secret Empire. The moments of humor worked for me. The dramatic moments worked. The hard part for Duggan is writing evil Steve to have the same voice but with different intent. I am not sure that I am convinced it is achieved. Some of his mannerisms did work though and he is strong in his ideals. So I would say it mostly works. Overall it is a direction for the Deadpool series that has me on board.
Deadpool distracts himself from the grimness of being Stryfe's hired gun by indulging in a very "LOL memes" visit to Stevil's prison. There's not too much wrong with this, particularly if you're in the mood for wacky Deadpool, but it's a half a good comic stretched out to fill 20 pages. Rather than making hay out of the deep opportunities offered by a conversation with Stevil, Gerry Duggan has Wade blow up his toilet, har-de-har. At least next issue promises a catch-up with Rogue.
