Ferry continues to create some beautiful art in this issue and the series as a whole. There is a lilting magical quality to the art throughout which makes it perfect for this character and his world. Read Full Review
Dr. Strange #18 shows how the aftermath of the Blood Hunt events finale affect Stephen Strange. The comic has some good and bad parts. The bad parts include Baron Mordos appearance which feels like an afterthought, and the unsatisfactory explanation of why the Vishanti wont take the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme away from Dr. Doom and give it back to Strange. But the best parts are the emotional moments with Dr. Strange as we see him at his lowest, at his most furious, and at his most wholesome with Clea. Its not the strongest series finale, but it has some nice parts to it. Read Full Review
Doctor Strange #18 cements the idea that Doctor Doom is truly the Sorcerer Supreme for the time being. Confirmation is nice, but Doctor Strange is too important a character to be used as filler to take up shelf space. This issue, which ends MacKay's run, is a pointless waste. Read Full Review
