‘Fantastic Four: Life Story' #5 finally gives us the Fantastic Four's dramatic, epic conflict with Galactus in another outstanding issue. A series that takes the best of the Fantastic Four's legacy and remixes it to bring a fresh new perspective to bear upon comidom's favourite family and their exploits. This one is both heart-warming and heart-breaking in equal measures. Read Full Review
Both quiet moments and more explosive elements are well portrayed, and offer readers a fitting climax. It will be interesting to see how this miniseries' unique mix of narratives might conclude after such a large diversion. Read Full Review
What a complete turnaround this comic has done for me. First 3 issues I felt nothing. This issue was absolutely heart wrenching
This is really well done. This series has been so different than what Spider-Man: Life Story was, and at first, that seemed like a bad idea. But I can say truthfully that this gamble paid off entirely. This is a series eligible to stand on the shelf with Spider-Man.
Russell has been killing it lately. This story fucking rocks
After four installments that, for me, definitely fell into the category "well, erm, yes, OK, but, anyway", we finally get an issue that fully was worth the time spent reading it, and completely made sense from start to finish. Recommended.
This was really good. It had some flaws but, the emotion this book has is amazing. Great series.
This came together slowly, but the resolution of the Galactus plot was eminently satisfying. The art is strong. The script is clear and well-structured, although I personally found the prose a little beige.
This series has never really gotten a hook into me, but I can't deny it's well done (barring some weakness in the middle issues).
Ok, this was really good (and very sad at the same time), less stupid ranting from Russell and more decent storytelling, I liked this!
