Plot
This story begins with Godzilla's arrival in New York, destroying everything in his path. His appearance is surprising.
The Fantastic Four use their powers as a team to hit Godzilla with everything they can. This sequence is brilliant and on a scale that seems to leap off the page. But this monster responds with its atomic breath, and they are saved only by Sue's force field.
Reed manages to harness all of New York's electricity and direct it at the Baxter Building. This causes Godzilla to be struck by this immense potential energy, and it falls defeated.
