The Last Iron Fist Story: Part 3
Mysterious enemy forces circle all around him, as Danny Rand comes face to face with history! The legacy of the Iron Fist becomes clear, as he leaps to the aid of a man he has long-thought was dead... and who has come seeking Danny's help with an army on his trail.
Iron Fist #3 was another excellent read. Brubaker, Fraction and Aja have impressed the hell out of me. These men are cranking one of Marvel's strongest titles. Iron Fist is consistently an incredible read. Right now, I'd put Iron Fist right up there as one of the best Marvel comic books right next to Daredevil and X-Factor. Read Full Review
A good if unremarkable issue as B&F continue to redefine Danny Rands role as Iron Fist in the Marvel Universe. Things slow down in the third act of this arc, but enough is teased at to make this title worth returning to next month. Read Full Review
Aja is the best Iron Fist artist ever. Seriously, he’s spectacular. The action was great and Danny’s narration was perfectly written. While I still have some questions, I have no doubt Brubaker and Fraction will provide satisfying answers
Prelude:
Last issue sold me on this new series, so let's see what Fraction, Brubaker and Aja have in store this time.
The Good:
Still loving the historical aspect.
The story is starting to tie together now and it works well.
Aja's art works for Iron Fist so well.
The Bad:
It's pretty much just set-up.
Conclusion:
It's a slower issue but one that is needed. All the pieces are starting to come together and the halfway mark of this first story.
