These constant art problems continue to upset me. There's no reason Invincible Iron Man shouldn't be declared one of Marvel's best books. From a writing standpoint, it rivals anything Ed Brubaker is doing on Captain America. Artistically, though, each issue has been a major disappointment. Until Marvel addresses this problem, the series will have to settle for a second-class existence. Read Full Review
Although it's difficult to discuss the ending of the issue without spoiling things somewhat, the final pages work to set up a fantastic conflict between Stark and the main villain of the arc. Fraction pulls an inspired yet simple idea out of his hat in the closing moments of the book, and I can't wait to see where things go from here. Any readers who were worried that Secret Invasion was going to mess things up for this book can rest assured: this is still a highly enjoyable read. Read Full Review
Undoubtedly, this story is going to gain steam as it heads into the next issue and beyond. Marvel's propensity for "tradeworthy" story arcs provides Fraction with an exact set of parameters for his pacing. The final, entire story of "World's Most Wanted" is sure to be a nice hardcover collection. But why wait? The action is here right now and Iron Man is perched on the precipice of becoming an honorable hero once more. Read Full Review
Fraction uses Invincible Iron Man #8 to clearly lay out the future for this title. This issue was largely set-up which by nature tends to be a bit slow and boring. However, it is a necessary evil and now Fraction should be able to hit the ground running with the next issue and deliver a much faster paced and more exciting read. Read Full Review
