Iron Fist: Heart of the Dragon #4 is the strongest issue yet of this six-issue mini-series. If you are an Iron Fist fan this is a must-buy. Now, none Iron Fist fans or those not familiar with the lore might be a little perplexed, but all in all the story goes to 11 by the end of the issue. The art also continues to be great and honestly seems to be improving with every issue. Maybe not the best book released this week, but definitely the book I enjoyed reading the most! Iron Fist: Heart of the Dragon #4 is a wild, frantic, fast-paced issue that challenges the readers to keep up with the players, twists, and turns. The art is excellent, and the twist ending was definitely a surprise. Read Full Review
As Heart of the Dragon barrels towards its epic conclusion, it continues to feel more and more like an event title that's supposed to spread across multiple titles. Read Full Review
The real selling part was the last few pages. It wasnt bad at first but just lacked the big time feel the last few pages had. Define Italy brought the story to another level.
While the main hero-team flails about dropping ninja-zombie bodies by the cartload, the story sets up a d-list Iron Fist supporting cast member and Okoye, of all people, as the prime combatants. The art looks pretty good in a messy, vibrant way, but I'm not loving the script at either the big or the small scale. Besides the looming irrelevance of Iron Fist in his own miniseries, I'm also troubled by the fact this issue seems to be at least 1/4 filler.
This... wasn't terrible? I'm sort of done with this story. I liked the twist with Okoye, though. There's not much to say here, honestly.
