Another artist extravaganza overseen by the master; Alex Ross! In this issue, the X-Men old and new grapple with the swelling of their ranks in a story by Dan Brereton, the Thing, Spider-Man and Doctor Doom contend for the most coveted object on the planet in a tale by Eric Powell, and the Vision pushes himself to the limit in order to save a life in an adventure by Paolo Rivera! All wrapped in a framing sequence painted by Alex and scripted by Steve Darnall!

This series is an attractive offering for those looking something not-too-serious, with the understanding the tales within have virtually no bearing on the overall health of the Marvel Universe. Plus, Marvel #2 has one of the funniest Dr. Doom sequences comics has ever seen. Read Full Review
The rare anthology where everything is good and at least one thing is great. Eric Powell + Ben Grimm is a match made in heaven, and I love that middle strip to pieces. This issue should go down smooth with virtually any Marvel fan -- X-Men + Fantastic Four + Avengers is a cover-all-the-bases recipe for success.
These were a mixed bag. The danger room story was probably my favorite, but the cannoli story was also fun. The Vision story was fine.
Wasnt necessarily bad but wasnt anything you had to read. A fun doom story and an ok vision yarn are the main features here.
I found this to be of a middling quality, though the art in everything save the first story was very good. I think the Vision one was my favourite? But maybe I am a sap.
