AIPT - Forrest Hollingsworth
Nov 21, 2018The second Spider-Force issue attempts to fit its predecessor's format to its purposes but entirely misses the mark and offers up a muddled narrative buoyed only by dark, grisly, and compelling art ill-fitted to doing all the heavy lifting. Read Full Review

I thought the space station was a cool addition to Earth-3145. Also, I found a considerable amount of promise hidden in the scrambled-up plotting and character work. This author does love to switch things around and present effects before their causes.

Well the words at the end basically summoned it all up, what the hell happened? Between the bickering and how the scenes change, this issue was a chore to finish! Art was pretty good.

This second story make no much sense. How Verna survive the explosion and appear on a satellite. Why the new Spider-man of the radioactive world think the spider team are foes ? It's sad because the first part or the origin of this new spider or his power are good. Cover - Not really related or good. 1/2 Writing - Their is not much thing I like in this issue. 1/3 Arts - Sad because the layout and panel make the job even if I'm not fan of some of them. 2.5/3 Feeling - It's a pass, and Spider-geddon 4 already spoil the end. 0/2

I really liked what they were going for in this, but the writing is just terrible.

Yep. This went off the rails spectacularly. I'll be surprised if Priest manages to turn it around with the big finish.

I don't what just happened. Pacing in this comic is just so SO BAD. Art is nice.

I was falling asleep while reading it, but whether that is an indictment of the comic or myself we may never know.
