• Struggling to find her place as SPIDER-WOMAN in a city that seems to revere her and hate her in equal measure, GWEN STACY has taken matters into her own hands by becoming a hero for hire!
• That should make her first date with Harry Osborn a breeze, right? After all, how many people could REALLY need Spider-Woman's help, after all?

Issue seven is called Some Nights. Some nights prove to be really, really well-executed by the entire team on the book. Its inevitable that some nights might NOT end up working out so well in future issues, but for now, McGuire and company have a really good handle on exactly what to do with one of Marvels most interesting characters. I'm still concerned that there is going to be an increased risk with Gwen's new attempt, but I also think it'll be worth it. And obviously, if that is the case, it'll also lead to a fantastic and hopefully detailed fight sequence. Read Full Review
Spider-Gwen #7 sees its protagonist seesawing again between hero and ordinary person. This is a somewhat "quiet" issue, lacking a blockbuster triumph or a shocking revelation. But it builds up Gwen's story in a way fans will find thoroughly satisfying. The words and art are entertaining, and more importantly, they're revealing and completely believable. Read Full Review
A disastrous date with Harry Osborne is just the start, and this new issue will leave fans curious about Gwen and her ever-present headaches. Read Full Review
Dating Harry Osborn is a bit of a disaster. But Gwen's hero-for-hire business is starting to pick up, so she's got that going for her, which is nice. Rock-solid art, snappy dialogue, and a superb little episode of retail life-saving heroism are all big positives, and negatives are pretty thin on the ground. Taking a panel to pet a cat is sweet, too.
Really good issue.
McGuire settles in more and more with each issue, and I loved the set piece at the end. Did we actually see a hero saving people's lives? That doesn't happen nearly enough.
Solid issue! Still no clue why she doesn’t call herself Ghost Spider. Probably best one out of the run so far!
Mostly good! This business strategy is still terminally untenable!
