Nov 25, 2025Rainbow Rowell has done a great job of writing to the young adult audience, and I suggest that this is a brilliant introductory story for someone of that age. Being introduced to the Marvel universe, any member of the younger aged audience can enjoy Spiderman as he spends time with the Fantastic Four, Avengers, Daredevil and X-Men throughout his holiday period. A Christmas bingo card for Marvel’s greatest teams! Read Full Review

Plot Aunt May buys a ticket for a cruise that sails just days before Christmas. Peter feels heartbroken and attends the Fantastic Four's Hanukkah party, the Avengers' Christmas Eve party, and ends up at the X-Men's Christmas party. He feels very welcome in all these settings, but in the end, he goes with Aunt May to spend New Year's Eve on the cruise ship with the help of a teleporting mutant. A touching and funny Spider-Man story filled with his hilarious, witty, and sharp dialogue. Art Luciano Vecchio, Paco Medina, Nathan Stockman, and Bob Quinn create different Christmas sequences where Spider-Man is the connecting thread. Each artist brings their own magnificent style, contributing different tones. Summary Spider-Man trie more

Hilarious and big-hearted, just like a Spider-Man story should be. In my dream world, Rainbow Rowell writes a more intimate, small-scale secondary Spider-Man series that's reliably superior to the main one

The story was heartwarming and cute. Marvel heroes making sure Peter Parker does not feel lonely during Christmas. But I thought it was just ok. I guess I recommend it to anyone who wants a nice holiday story.
