A fantastic end to Kieron Gillens Star Wars storyline. Thrilling, intense, impactful and deep. The Force really is with this series. Read Full Review

I think Gillen's run benefitted a lot from a reread of the entire thing start to finish. It's clearly a very tightly-plotted series and I think it works more when you can read it without extended breaks between the bits of story. I don't think some of his issues worked as well as others when reading month to month, the middle of the arcs could drag sometimes, but that problem isn't nearly as prominent when reading them all together. The parting panel in this issuejust gives you that warm feeling of being one of a band of friendsfighting against the Empire with only each other to rely on. You don'tget that too much from other Star Wars content these days but you will with this title. An enjoyable close to an exciting tale. Read Full Review

Gillen ends his run with a good bit of closure for a lot of story points here and he places the characters just before the lead-up to the Empire Strikes Back, which really has me hopeful for some forward progress in the stories soon as we've spent several years in this post-ANH era so far. Gillen put in a strong run and worked with some great artists and should definitely feel like he had a great run. Read Full Review

An acceptable ending to this long story, but not a memorable one. The visuals look good at least. The colors run a little dark at times and the lettering continues to have several issues. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to a new writer and artist on this book. Read Full Review

Whatever the future holds for the Star Wars series of books, Gillen has ended his run by setting the bar quite high. Read Full Review

Star Wars #67 is a dramatically satisfying but visually underwhelming end to Kieron Gillen's run. Read Full Review
