SECRET EMPIRE TIE-IN!
• The Chitauri fleet has nearly reached Earth space and it's up to Captain Marvel to stop it.
• Taking on an entire armada of alien spacecraft is a tall order for Carol and the crew of Alpha Flight Space Station.
• Luckily they've got some help from their Sisters (and brothers) in arms.

The last third of this title was mainly a rehash of the start of Secret Empire, and this was a set-up episode for the next wave in this series to move forward. It did however shunt things on considerably from the "abduction of Kree children story" so I for one welcome the shift, and am once again hopeful for the future of this title. Read Full Review
The book's Secret Empire tie-in will offer plenty of opportunity to turn things around, but it's still on Stohl and Rosanas to make good on their obvious talent. Read Full Review
It's still a pleasant read, even if it won't necessarily blow your mind. Read Full Review
It has as big of a scope as it can, considering the main Secret Empire series has already shown where this ends up, but it does mean that Stohl can continue to pile on the pressure to see how well Carol contends. Read Full Review
OMG!!!! It's not pure crud like the last story arc. The story had a point!! A major victory for Stohl. It was a great first issue I just wished it had the same emotional impact as Secret Empire #0 did when you read that scene between Cap. Marvel and Cap. America. But damn it I'm just happy this story actually was ok!!! Keep it up!
Carol enlists three cadets just in time to get swept up in the Secret Empire mess. The good news about adding teen characters is that it plays hard to Margaret Stohl's writing strengths. The Alpha Cadets form a terrific emotional core that should make this new arc a lot more relatable and interesting than the last one. Bad news? Ms. Stohl's still not so hot at writing Carol Danvers or snappy one-liners. Michele Bandini's art is generally pretty good, although the Chitauri attack taxes his crowd-drawing skills. This issue had two colorists and they couldn't even agree on which parts of Cap'n M's uniform are what colors; it's a problem that marginally competent editorial oversight could/should have fixed. It's another point in favor of my themore
