The Undead Iron Fist #1 is a stylish, action-packed relaunch that dares to tinker with Iron Fist's legacy while delivering visually creative fight sequences. Weird Science Marvel Comics - mrgabehernandez Sep 10, 2025

The Undead Iron Fist #1 doesnt waste time pulling punchesit throws Danny Rand back into the fight and dares him to justify his own existence. The story is messy, but its a kind of mess that keeps the reader leaning in, waiting for the next blow. Its sharp, stylish, and just haunted enough to make you wonder if Dannys fists will be enough to keep the dead at bay. Read Full Review

Very pleased with this first issue. The story was interesting, I enjoyed the idea that IF is going around punching old folks in the chest to dispel a demon or whatever was possessing them but regular people think he's just going around beating people up. The art was really good, I've never heard of this artist but I enjoyed it a lot. It reminded me of what you might get if you somehow mixed Todd McFarlane's style with manga. I'm not saying it's as good as McF, but stylistically similar.

in a way this gave me a really big retro vibes. Not only because it looks like it connects to some immortal iron fist, but of the way we are introduced to the narative.

Sure it is fast, but it feels like what is happening is connected to the world around it, in those more random, more natural way, that it did in the 80s for examples. It is a very interesting choice on the writers part because, there is so much that is left unsaid, so many stuff that is said by riddles and is alluded more than confirmed. All this creates excitement in me, it makes me want to learn me and it does it in this fun, naive way which balances so much the potential seriousness and epicness of what this comics could become.
