• Gwen's been thrown by Arcade into...a world of Fantasy Roleplaying?!?!
• It's Swords & Sorcery, Gwenpool-style!
• Watch out, or this LARP is gonna become a DARP!
Rated T+
Although the conclusion to this two part dungeon crawl arcfelt a little rushed to make way for the coming stories there is still, asalways, plenty to enjoy within the pages of Gwenpool. This has been and remains one of the mostconsistently enjoyable and funny books on my pull list. The art is also always treatto behold. Read Full Review
She is soooooooooo cute lol
Gwen's confrontation with Deadpool nearly goes grim. Thank goodness Arcade is there to get whupped! Before everybody gets friendly, Wade lays down some hilarious, trenchant meta-fictional commentary. About the only weak spot is the art collaboration. You don't *think* guest artist Alti Firmansyah is doing anything wrong, but then a five-page cut to GuriHiru during the book's climax exposes the relative weakness of the art around it.
another gem. what started out as a joke book really has some depth to it!
Very fun. A book with both Gwenpool and Deadpool can't help but talk about itself.
This inevitable 1st meeting between Gwenpool was well worth the year long wait. It was lots of fun. "I don't read Deadpool" and "They think you're Gwen Stacy" were both hilarious lines.
I picked this up based on a review I heard on a YouTube channel, and I was convinced I would be able to jump in randomly. I was wrong.
I have no idea who Gwenpool is so I was completely lost this whole issue. So I'm sorry, that completely affected my review. For fans of the character this might be a perfectly good issue.
I might pick up the next issue to see if I can eventually understand what's going on.
