Uncanny Inhumans #3 is a glorious shake-up of the Terrigen fueled monarchs, an explosive and colorful read. These are new paths these characters are on, the threats come across heavy, and the art adds necessary depth. This story will most likely play a huge part in what will happen in the world of Inhumans for years to come, and none of us can predict what's around the corner. Read Full Review
The issue looks amazing, with Steve McNiven and Jay Leisten crafting powerful character designs and stunning action sequences. The only flaw - and it's terribly minor - is that I'm not crazy about their redesign of the Torch. Read Full Review
Because so much of this issue of Uncanny Inhumans is just about setting up its cliffhanger, you may feel better or worse about it next month. As is, this issue is mostly just one long fight scene between the Inhumans and the newest incarnation of Kang. Read Full Review
With not enough artistic details to form an immersive environment and not enough focus on Medusa and Black Bolt to elicit sympathy, this issue feels like an incomplete Ahura one-shot. Read Full Review
This was an awesome issue. I really enjoyed the character drama between Ahura, Black Bolt, and Medusa. Also, Johnny vs. Black Bolt went exactly how it should have gone lol. Can't wait to see how the next issue unfolds.
That family has some issues.
I have to say that I do not like time travel stories as they tend not to play by any rules. It is an overused gimmick these days. Beyond that, though, this issue brings to a head a confrontation that is underwhelming in its conclusion. I love to see Black Bolt unleash his power, but it makes the whole thing seem all the more trivial. The best thing going in this series so far is the tenuous interaction between Black Bolt and the Torch.
