A SPIDER-GEDDON TIE IN!
• Only a Spider-Army can stop the end of the Multiverse!
• Meet Web-Slinger, the Spider-Man from the Wild West, in an unforgettable story by CULLEN BUNN (X-MEN BLUE) and JAVIER PULIDO (SHE-HULK).
• He is the Emissary from Hell, he is SUPAIDAMAN! The Spider-Man from the live-action SPIDER-MAN show that aired in Japan in the 1970s is back in comics form in an insane story by JED MACKAY (EDGE OF SPIDER-GEDDON) and SHELDON VELLA (DEADPOOL, SPIDER-VERSE).
• And that's just a glimpse into the VAULT OF SPIDERS!

In all, this is a great package of unique takes of Spider-Man and his mythos. The only real complaint is that some of these stories are just too short. However, the overall quality of these stories more than makes up for their length, a rarity in anthology publications from Marvel and DC these days. Read Full Review
VAULT OF SPIDERS #1 is a fun little snapshot of some of the less-traveled corners of the Spider-Verse. Even if these characters do turn up later in the Spider-Geddon event, you'll be able to get the gist without reading this volume. It's a nonessential, but I'd recommend it either way. Vault of Spiders #1 is a bit of a let down but fun to see the various versions of Spider-Man. I'd love to see this as an ongoing with longer stories, the brevity was a hindrance. Like a lot of anthologies, there's some good here and some bad but if you're a Spider fan it might be worth checking out. Read Full Review
This first offering from the Vault of Spiders has some exceptionally cool moments but they're few and far between and everything else pales in comparison, leaving the whole affair feeling not necessarily lacking but definitely underdeveloped. Read Full Review
The stories might not all pack the largest punch, but they're still an interesting read " particularly the Ready Player One-esque Spider-Byte story, and the artfully done manga story. Read Full Review
I think the different art styles and such were really cool. Some stories were better than others.
At parts this issue feels rushed with some of its stories and on some parts this issue was excellently done. The first two (Wild West Spider-Man and Japanese movie spider man) are awful in either pace and/ or dialogue while last two (Spider Byte and Tarzan like Spider-Man) was enjoyable however spider byte can’t see reading a whole series maybe a 6 issue mini but Tarzan like Spider-Man could see it to a 12 mini issue series
Yet another anthology. The Web-Slinger was messy and way too quick. Final Galaxy Battle! was a cool homage, but that was it. Spider-Byte was competent, but very short nonetheless. Savage Spider-Man is the only story worth reading here, in my opinion. The idea of Spider-Man controlling an army of giant deadly spiders is way too cool. Unfortunately, this was pretty bland overall.
4 mediocre stories, but the art was pretty sick in the second one.
