Bagley feels right at home in Eddie Brock's world. Maybe he does bring the same extreme, hyper-kinetic quality to the action sequences as Gerardo Sandoval, but Bagley shows much more storytelling versatility. Read Full Review
While recent issues of Venom were fun, #155 shows some thought and intelligence that Land Before Crime didnt really provide. Costa and Bagley look to be on the right track with Venom for Marvel Legacy, and I highly recommend this book. Check it out. Read Full Review

This book does absolutely nothing for the character, it's a story comic fans have read hundreds of times. Even with the legion of dinosaur people at their disposal, every turn of the page was an expected and boring sense of deja vu. Read Full Review
Eddie Brock and Venom are dirt poor; for subsistence they take an awful tabloid job and mooch off their dino-people sewer pals, respectively. Mike Costa's script does a nice job of illuminating the Eddie-Symbiote relationship while also setting up promising plot threads. I wonder if the sleazy tabloid editor's passion for "on-brand content" is a stealthy dig at editorial constraints on Marvel creators? Mark Bagley's art does decent storytelling, but there are a few weak visuals. This issue isn't going into his greatest hits portfolio.
Very good book with great art. Venom gets better with every issue and went from one of the worst series to one of the best since the new numbering. Bagley hasn't lost his touch and is a great artist for this book. The symbiote is such a good character, Lee Price is back in the fold and Kraven the Hunter.... Here we go!!!!
