A great ending, or rather many smaller endings, to the story and to a few dangling plot threads in the Venom storyline. This series may have felt like a bit of a cash grab, but based on this ending it's safe to say it added something to Venom's journey and even made him more interesting while doing it. Venom First Host #5 is a fitting end to the series. Personally, I would have enjoyed a fully functional Tel-Kar running around the universe. This was pretty good storyline. Not nearly as good as Cates' but it doesn't pretent to be one.. At first I was very skeptical but was surprised by the writing. Bagley has amazing artwork as usual.
This mini series was way better than it probably could have been. I wasnt blown away by it but it did entertain me and I enjoyed the new symbiote. I really can't complain.
