Nov 06, 2024I think this was a superb ending to Venom War: Spider-Man. I can't wait to see what the creative team does next as I think they really knocked it out of the park here. Read Full Review

Nov 10, 2024Venom War: Spider-Man #4 was a good issue with great art and a good story to end this portion of Venom War, even if there wasn't a lot of action. Read Full Review

Land's art is terrible. But otherwise, this book just works for me. I hate Paul, and I hate Land's art, but neither of did ruin this for me.

Not a bad way to close things out, even if I'm really not into Land's art. I don't think it's terrible when he's drawing Peter in the suit, but it all goes downhill when he has to actually draw faces and such. At least Kelly & Lanzing had a fairly compelling story to tell, though.

I thought overall this was a good tie-in series, but this issue annoyed me a little. The art was good, but the dialog (and especially Spidey's quipping) was cringy and annoying and the story didn't really land will, in my opinion. Not a bad book, but not as good as the previous ones. Didn't stick the landing.
