Two of the deadliest hunters ever to have stalked the night face off! Wolverine vs. Blade - 'nuff said!

If you're looking for something fun featuring everyone's favorite mutant, no one can go wrong with Wolverine Vs. Blade. While rooted in Marvel continuity, this special is not needed to keep up with any main storyline. An enjoyable, easy read that any new comic book fan can pick up and enjoy. Read Full Review
A basic piece of writing accompanied by eye-popping art make this one-shot a mixed bag of what is ultimately a throwaway piece of entertainment that people will probably read again for the art. Read Full Review
Wolverine vs. Blade is a fun one-shot showing an odd team-up in an even odder situation. Since these two lurk in the more dangerous areas of the Marvel Universe, it makes for an interesting combination. With Blade moonlighting on the Avengers right now, I hope we get more from the character and the other supernatural elements he comes up against. Read Full Review
While the action is great, it's not the showdown promised in the title or the cover. More than that, the characters in this book just don't feel quite like the two badasses we know and love, leaving the whole issue feeling very middling. Read Full Review
For a book that brings back a gimmick as potentially awesome as Wolverine running around as a vampire, this gave very little for a reader to sink their teeth into (sorry, had to get at least one vampire joke in here!). Read Full Review
Great artwork! Wolverine and Blade have some great chemistry. Overall it was an enjoyable one shot.
Art awesome/ Stories weak
It wasn't bad at all. It was a pretty long one, but it didn't feel boring. The artwork is nice too. A bit cheap sometimes, as it always comes with these digital realistic artworks, but anyway, not bad at all.
Wolverine and Blade briefly mistake each other for a vampire messiah before teaming up to butcher the genuine article. The misunderstanding brawl's set up with all the subtlety of a demolition derby. If it doesn't inspire you to give up on the book entirely, you should take it as a signal to ratchet down your expectations. Once that's done, you get some gorgeously-illustrated vampire slaughter with some suitably corny action-movie one-liners sprinkled on top. Even praise for the art can be qualified, though: While the polish is incredible, the anatomy underneath it is often suspect.
the artwork gets a score of 10 stunning art
This was a pretty boring one-shot, but the art was really good. Just wish it was taken advantage of more.
