As X-MEN LEGENDS #8 takes off, readers searching for a continuation of a nostalgic WOLVERINE team-up story will be pleased. Hama and Tan give readers just enough information to start with that make the narrative easy to jump into while providing just enough late 80s WOLVERINE flare to remind fans of the definitive elements that made WOLVERINE the character he is today. However, the biggest takeaway from this issue of X-MEN LEGENDS was how much I missed that version of Jubilee. Jubilee fans may want to snag this issue and give it a look! Read Full Review
Again, I had mixed feelings of this comic and I think your view depends on how you feel about 90s X-Men. However, with everything going on with the current X-Men content, its a nostalgic palette cleanser that is refreshing and can be fun to read. Its also been a while since Ive read a comic with so much action from page to page, that was a blast to read. Read Full Review
X-Men Legends #8 is a dream come true for Wolverine fans. Larry Hama gives us two classic Logan villains in this issue that deal a lot of damage and put our hero in a tough spot. The pencils and colors this issue look great and give us amazing visuals on every page. X-Men Legends feels like the 90's never ended, and that's a good thing. Read Full Review
X-Men Legends usually hits a cool nostalgia factor for me. My family mostly read X-Men comics, so I remember reading a lot of these older runs when I was a kid. However, I struggled remaining interest in this one. Not to say that it was a bad comic, but it wasn't what I wanted. 3 out of 5 stars for X-Men Legends #8 from me. Read Full Review
It isn't inventive, but if you enjoy a good-old-fashioned Wolverine slice 'em up, it won't disappoint. Read Full Review
This is a really boring series. I don't know why it's lasted this long.
Ugh, this isn't over yet? Pure smash-the-action-figures-together plotting and dialogue from the clearance aisle of the cliché store. The art comes closest to "retro-cheesy in an enjoyable way," but even that (for me at least) wasn't too fun.
I can't care about this since half the issue Hama is concerned about making sure people speak in the right languages, it's all very stupid.
