Fortunatelyeveryone on this team is up to the task making it tough not to give this book the highest possible rating. After five straight issues of constant momentum, it makes sense that things quiet down at least a little before the conclusion. The next30 days is gonna be a long wait, but you can bet it'llbe totally worth it. Read Full Review
Empress #6 is an impressive conclusion to the first story arc of this series. Millar and Immonen have introduced us to a wonderful space opera that offers us some great characters, hair-raising moments and stimulating plot developments. Ive thoroughly enjoyed reading Empress and I've found it to be consistently clever, gripping and fun.Its concluding issue really ties it all nicely together, making it a cohesive and dynamic story that is well rounded and cleverly thought out. Im looking forward to the next story arc and seeing where this whirlwind of events and dramatic tale is going to take us. Read Full Review
This issue slows down a little bit from the last one with not as much action going on, but we get some awesome progression of the story. The book looks fantastic and is set up for a kick ass ending. Read Full Review
Still it is great to look at. This just in Stuart Immonen is a fantastic artist. Yes I know I am basically saying water is wet and the grass is green. I am just saying a person this good should not goo unnoticed because we expect it to happen. I loved what Immonen did on the Star Wars comic and it has been great seeing him tackle another Space Opera. The more creative freedom you give him the more he rewards you. Read Full Review
Big Daddy's Little Girl flips the switch on the whole squad!! Good issue
The last minute save comes off a little cheap, but the direction this issue takes in the second half is compelling and Aine's actions feels authentic to how a teenage daughter would react. How was she seeing into the other bedroom from her own room though? That's creepy and weird.
At last the ridicuously fast pace slows a little and we get some story. This could be a half decent comic with better writing. The art is great.
Wow the dialogue was stiff. This series started strong, but now I can't wait for it to end
