The aftermath of the Armor Hunters saga is a place where things can definitely get interesting. It's an opportunity to reshape things, to change allegiances, introduce new foes and alter the landscape in a solid way as the organization goes public and the various individuals involved decide how they want to participate. There's some really solid bits in here to like with what it's done, but also its goofy ones. And the time to take a look at the impact on the world at large with how humanity would react to all of it, especially with some cities having been taken down amid it. That's given some token material to be sure, but it feels superficial as the real purpose is to get to the main characters and give them their story. I want to see their story against this backdrop though, which was the weak aspect for me. But as a whole, it's on the right path and I'm curious to see what else will come into play. Read Full Review
SUMMARYArmor Hunters: Aftermath #1successfully establishes the new status quo for Unity, M.E.R.O. and their relationship with the public at large in an entertaining way. It also gives a sense of closure regarding the Armor Hunters, at least for the crossover event, and introduces GIN-GR as a new member of Unity. I don't know what storylines lie ahead for the team but if this issue is any indication then I'm on board for all the exciting possibilities. Read Full Review
It's a slower issue, yet it doesn't feel that way, CAFU's expert layouts and impressive character work making for a surprisingly captivating affair. Simply put, the future of Valiant looks bright indeed. Read Full Review
Theres so much more to come from these creators and there are so many things to do in the Valiant Universe that, again, this issue really does feel like the Sun peaking through dark storm clouds right before all Hell breaks loose. A good wrap to a great event and the start of so many new things, even if there was no real action, is just what the doctor ordered. Keep your eyes on not only this team but all of Valiantthe best is yet to come. Read Full Review
Colonel Capshaw works through an organizational identity crisis as M.E.R.O. becomes G.A.T.E. (Global Agency for Threat Excision) in a dense, transitional tale in the pages of "Armor Hunters: Aftermath" #1. Sharpe's letters shape the story, making everything flow nicely around and through CAFU and Reber's artwork. Sound effects and exclamations fill the space allotted, but don't obscure any storytelling or imagery flow, making "Armor Hunters: Aftermath" #1 a remarkably clean comic book for a "picking up the pieces" adventure. This comic book is a nice bridge between the excited chaos of the "Armor Hunters" battle and the future dawning in the Valiant Universe. It's not a completely necessary installment, but it certainly adds to the depth and breadth of this universe as heroes and creators alike work to build a more remarkable universe. Read Full Review

Italia - il mondo sta pian piano tornando alla normalità, il mero è stato smantellato e ha lasciato spazio al GATE, unity sì è consolidata. Dopo gli armor huntera molte cose cambieranno! Ottima chiusura, eccellenti i disegni.
It wasnt really relevant.
This is a good epilogue to Armor Hunters. Often 'aftermath' books feel like a money-grab, but this addresses some loose threads fan may wonder about and this also sets the stage for the next age of Unity. There's also some cheeky commentary about catering to the general public.
