This is a great tie-in that gives you a dynamic look from Bloodshot's eyes and advances the overall story of the Harbinger Wars. This issue is a great read on it's own but it's definitely worth investing the time and money to get full experience of how rich and dense the Valiant Universe has become. This is one of those issues that you have to read " digest a little than look back at it cause there is a lot that gets covered in this issue. Yet, it was paced well and Swierczynski goes out with a bang " giving a sense of finality as this is the exit of multiple characters while also leaving enough mysteries for the new writing team to pick up. Also, Kitson's experimentation with his art to be grittier worked extremely well and kudos to the art team for giving us a great issue. Read Full Review
Bloodshot Reborn #13 brings “The Analog Man” to itsconclusion, and despite having a mixed opinion on the twist near the end, it was nevertheless smart storytelling. Add to this the ramifications this will have on the series moving forward, and I for one can't wait to see what's in store next for Ray Garrison. Read Full Review
If you haven't picked up a Valiant comic yet you are in for a treat. Every issue I have picked up has been great. Bloodshot is a great book and great story. This also opens up as a great prelude to Bloodshot's next chapter in his life. The summer of Valiant Two keeps going. Read Full Review
"3 STARS FOR BLOODSHOT? HAS KATZMAN GONE MAD?" Fear not, Viner, it's not a bad issue -- it just has too much of a "been there, done that" feeling to it. Sure, there's two rather good scenes thrown into the mix, but the core of this book is giving us a look at what we've already seen in HARBINGER WARS #4. This issue basically hits the reset button and prepares us for the next step in Bloodshot's life, but in doing so, I feel like it rushes one character out of the picture and I wish they had a more engaging departure. Regardless, it's still an entertaining and good looking issue, it's just bogged down by a lot of backtracking. Read Full Review
If i'm going to be completely honest I have got to say I was very disappointed in this issue. It again covered a lot of ground as Harbinger Wars did and didn't add a whole lot worth mentioning. Sure it wrapped the storyline of one key character but outside of that there wasn't anything that was really satisfying. Even that characters end, while making sense, fell flat for me as well.
