If you missed the first issue then you'll be happy to know that you can pick this up and get into the story pretty easily – there is literally no excuse for you not to read this (unless you're not too fond of action comics with some incredibly intelligent story telling and plot building). Delivering an engaging narrative that continues to highlight Ray Garrison's struggle to maintain a peaceful life, the creative team leave us with a product that begs further exploration. I describe this comic as watching an action movie, because the pace is vigorous and there is a lot of things like gunfights, and car chases to keep the action going. The story is fun and not convoluted with years of continuity to bog everything down. I am able to jump in as a new reader and enjoy the art and the characters with little exposition. So yeah, there are a few positives and a few negatives in this outing, but its not a deal breaker. Sometimes the legwork is needed to move the story forward, and I think that is exactly what is happening here. We have months and years to cover in the gap between Bloodshot USA and Salvation, so its understandable. This issue gives us context, lets see what develops from here. Read Full Review
A very good story with decent artwork. There are multiple sub-plots here which makes me think I will enjoy this even more as a re-read when the storyline is over and the pieces are all in place.
