Unity is changing and growing as the VU changes and grows. Theres going to be pains here and there, and theres going to be internal issues and external problems with and for the team. So far, they seem to be handling it well. Kindt has a great cast of characters to play with here and hes using them all equally and more effectively than a lot, a lot, of other team superhero books out there. Unity is one of those books you really cant miss, even if youre new to the VU because itll give you a taste of a handful of characters that you can then go and explore in their own, or other, series. Dont miss out on more great Valiant, more great Kindt and, of course, more great art. Read Full Review
Italia - che issue! Spettacolo sia x i disegni, che x la storia. Bellissimo il dibattito che scandisce la battaglia in ogni suo punto! Finalmente entra in azione gin-gr e cambia l'esito dello scontro!
Good stuff told uniquely through bottom panel newscasts.
Overall, it's okay. The art is cool and the news cast thing is a neat idea. The story is average, Gin-Gr kind of takes away from some of the point of having a fight. Unity is better than a lot of DC and Marvel books, but it certainly does not hold a candle to X-O Manowar or Quantum & Woody. Aric is supposedly still a member but we never see him. I'm assuming it is because he would render the rest of the team useless so I guess that's how it's going to be moving forward. Gin-Gr is filling Aric's gap as the the power house now, and I think she is pretty cool but I'm just not engaged with the other characters enough to continue shelling out 4 bucks every month. The United also turned out to be a bunch of chumps.
