This issue delves deeper into the characters. It explores how they’ve reached a point to be comfortable with each other enough to lay everything out in front of a camera. And, it also shows, while they may know each other quite well now, they may not have known what to expect from the aliens they would encounter. With Money Shot getting "renewed" for a second series, I'm definitely glad I took the chance on this book. I'm not looking for sex in all of my comics by any means but having some that are more up front with it and play with it in some new and interesting ways are welcome. Seeley and Beattie are giving us two different storylines at the moment with one of them working better than the other but they do complement each other pretty well. Isaacs' artwork is a blast though as I love her designs for all the characters, human in particular, and getting to see all the pairings and the kinds of reactions she provides them with from the script made for a fantastic read.
