So this was all a big power fantasy from King where he murders a Trump-like character and he spits even more on the conservatives. Pretty sure he could've done that in less than 12 issues but a narcissist like him, who yet again inserted himself in the comic through the self-insert character and in art (Fornes drew him in a panel), wouldn't have been satisfied with just a mini-series, his ego need more

The end to the mystery is here! It’s been a long road to get here, and there have been a lot of dead bodies along the way, but the detective is very near closing the case. All the disparate threads lead back to the crime itself, to the assassination attempt that claimed the lives of the would-be assassins. Find out how it all went wrong for the c...

He's starting to get really mad about people calling him out for being a narrow minded bigot. But in regards to the actual issue, King is pretty heavy handed here, I can't say this was my favorite series, nor do I really care for the continuation of the Watchmen universe (not trying to be some elitist Watchman fan or anything). It was interesting but unnecessary.

Oh look the loser and coward who has me blocked and thinks it's fair for me to let him comment in my reviews. No, I don't think so.

This was an extraordinary series that will have a life well beyond that of its creators, like so many of King’s 12 issue series’. I really appreciated the complexities that, again and again, required me to reread the prior issue before reading the most current one. This is a whip smart story, employing elements so fresh as to be unprecedented in comics. The coloring work alone is demonstration more

Really, bullets with "thoughts and prayers"? I mean, I know it's Tom Taylor, stupidity is par for the course but come on, can it get more cringey? Nothing here seems all right, the way Jon scolds Clark, the way Clark accepts said scolding, the way Jon drops the refugees and he decides he's above all of it. The sanctimony of it, the complaining about "sTuPiD bOrDeRs", all of it it's just Tom Taylor more

All I'm asking is a fun and entertaining fucking book, I get tired from work, with my two kids, and people know how 7 years older are like, I just like to lay down and blow off some steam by reading my comics, without this political garbage, ain't enough that every channel I tune up there's this shit happening, it was supposed to be a break from reality, if DC keeps up with this agenda, I don't know if I'll stick around

Merlyn - Sep 14, 2021

That's my problem, too. These people don't understand that we want escapism. They're just so narcissistic that they think we actually want to hear their political opinions. We don't.
