McManus's art fits a lot better here. Weird weird issue

This was...surprisingly poignant. When I began reading, I was bracing myself for the worst issue yet. By the end, I found myself baffled by how powerful it was. Colour me impressed.

I don't really know what I read but it is way better than I originally thought it had any right to. Beautifully tragic and a great somber tone.

I was ready for this to be a bump in the road for Moore's run at the start of this...however, this ended up being a another great read. Yes, it can definitely take a bit to get into this with the way the critters speak, but I got more and more used to it as time went on, and I was able to better understand what was being said after a minute. Aside from that, this was a really bittersweet story with a great theme of still holding out hope for a better world, even if the one you're on appears to be doomed, for lack of a better term.
