I loved this first issue, it's so much better than the other new X-men comics. It's still silly, like the others, but now it really feels like it's supposed to be silly.
The Xavier Institute for Mutant Education and Outreach has opened its doors and is ready to foster the next generation of heroes and diplomats! But this time around, the X-Men recognize an unfortunate truth: not all mutants are created equal. Some mutants are not made to fight Sentinels or serve as ambassadors on behalf of their kind. Some mutants ...
Let's face it the art is really wonky. Pinna and Sobreiro made Jubes and Kitty look ancient while the others looked like they never aged a day. I really do like the introduction of all the characters. I only got confused with one minor character. I really thought she was Jean Grey for a second. Strain is writing a fun, action packed issue and I really do hope she keeps it up!.

Enjoyable enough first issue. Enough to make me buy #2. My only issue was that a couple of the faces looked unlike the characters I know.

This issue was very good. I enjoyed the beginning monologue of Jubilee discussing what she thought her life would be and how is actually is now that she is an adult. It reminded me of issue number 1 back in the 90's, where Husk met up with Jubilee. I enjoyed the complexity of characters and the way they were developed psychologically. I would love to see even more character development and love tomore

I actually really enjoyed it too. Silly but fun.
