This f***ed HARD. My goodness
BATMAN LEGEND SCOTT SNYDER AND ICONIC ARTIST NICK DRAGOTTA TRANSFORM THE DARK KNIGHT'S TALE FOR THE MODERN AGE! Without the mansion...without the money...without the butler...what's left is the Absolute Dark Knight!
I did not know what to expect from this. I picked it up because it looked interesting and I love cyber punk themes, but the fact that this series revolved around some sort of sport kind of tempered my expected interest in it. Turns out, this issue left an impression on me, with the very concept around that sport being intriguing and the connection between the issue's opening events and the revelatmore

Waid and Mora just keep putting out banger after banger after banger. World's Finest is (has been) the best DC book on the shelves and it's not particularly close.
Kingdom Come already being a tremendous story, David's run puts amazing perspective on it. I am no wordsmith so I won't try to articulate my review any further, but the run so far has been an adventure that will be worth ret more
RETURN TO KINGDOM COME CONCLUDES! With no way back to their own Earth, will Superman and Batman have to witness the tragic events that led to cataclysm--or are they fated to take the place of their doppelgangers?
I am always on board with the decompressed style of storytelling, and I'm getting this vibe here. It's relatively new (to me) on an ASM book and I have all faith in Wells.
Specific to the issue, I'm happy to see Norman back in the mix again and am waiting to see what role he'll play and the Tombstone stuff is fantastic in my opinion. Romita's art is always just fine to me. There's plen more
• The best couple in comics is done?
• You aren't going to believe what is happening in this volume of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
Zahra continues to be portrayed as a believable and formidable foe to Rebel Alliance, and her tactical prowess leads me to believe that. We're even shown that (her diving a Star Destroyer then pulling up just to incinerate the ground fleet with its thrusters was amazing to me). I love her as a character in this aspect but I do not care for her eventually looking the fool in the end one way or anotmore

• The fate of THE REBEL ALLIANCE FLEET is at stake, as its last remaining divisions face off in battle against the brutal tactics of COMMANDER ELLIAN ZAHRA and her crew on the TARKIN'S WILL.
• For Zahra, this fight is personal; her revenge will not be complete until every life lo...
“Abyss” part two! For years Batman used the darkness as a weapon, but now a new enemy turns that darkness against him! Batman must team with Batman Inc.’s mysterious new benefactor to bring the deadly Abyss into the light! Wait…who is Batman Inc.’s new benefactor?
I notice that others do not take issue with the dialogue of this issue but I am personally finding Ziglar to be the worst writer of this Beyond project. Art was fine. I am enjoying the direction of this arc but the Ziglar issues are rough to get through.
• The events of ASM #80.BEY have set Doctor Octopus on a collision course with the Beyond Corporation and their Spider-Hero in residence.
• Ben Reilly isn't the only one with new tricks up his sleeve, or, in Ock's case, MANY sleeves.
