Not a bad start. i liked the action and seeing that it includes some of the famous villains.

I wish there was a bit more futuristic tidbits since it's quite obvoiously a throwback to Blade Runner, but overall I thought the story worked pretty well. The main character is intersting and, though we don't know much about the killer at this point, the mystery is provoking nonetheless. Let's see where it goes.

Detective Ari Nasser is on the cusp of retirement when a brutal murder rocks Neo Novena. The victim bears the chilling signature of the "One Hand Killer," a notorious criminal Ari put away twice before. But the killer shouldn't be possible. This throws Ari back into the shadows, determined to unravel the truth and confront the demons of his past.

Ram V's plot is intriguing, leaving you guessing what's happening and wanting to find out more — about the current crime, the past crimes, and Ari himself. It's a really wonderful set up for a debut issue by Ram V.

The glimpses of Neo Novena's dystopian society are intriguing, with hints of social unrest and a looming sense of unease. The world feels lived-in and ripe for further exploration. The art style perfectly complements this, with stark contrasts and expressive character designs. The rain-soaked streets, neon lights, and oppressive cityscape create a truly immersive and evocative neo-noir atmosphere.

This was a very strong #1 that sets the tone for a suspenseful and thought-provoking story, which is actually told via two minis, this & THE SIX FINGERS by @danpgwatters. While the pacing Ram employs may be slow for some, the world-building and character potential are undeniable. I'm very interested to see how these two stories play out separately and then looked at together. more

Good start for this series. Not super original, but did a good job of telling its story and made me care.

The battle for the city takes place showing the magnitude of the villain. The stranger shows up again flitting between bodies to tell Sonja that this is not a battle she can win. This issue had the reveal of her unlikely partner and illustrating that she will have no choice but to team with an ememy to beat a larger, deadlier foe. Having Sonja run from a battle is completely out of character, but understandable in this case. Some of the captions are a bit clunky, but I'm looking foward to the next one and the covers continue to be awesome.

I Enjoyed this issue. The story gave me a vibe of Kill Bill mixed with BloodSports. i felt it was action packed which made a lot easier to read. Easier as in faster. It has a good start and definitely finishes with me wanting to read the next one
