Unsubtle politics, nerfed breasts, a stupid name change, an annoying antagonist, a jobbing protagonist, and an uninteresting setup. Just one more garbage DC book that will sell horribly and be forgotten.

I missed the politics in my read through of this filth, can you elaborate? It’s definitely for the best ANYTHIING Power Girl related from Leah Williams is forgotten.

    ItsJess - Sep 27, 2023

There are a group of white protestors with southern accents screaming about aliens, and the black looking alien cries about Krypton practicing colonialism. Nothing subtle or creative about it, just tired real life parallels.

Honestly, in terms of politics, it remains much more subtle than many current comics. It didn't shock me. The real problem is that it's poorly written, and nothing is believable.
