Overall, I really enjoyed reading Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Volume 9. As I mentioned in my review of Volume 8, I was skeptical about starting the series. However, I'm fully invested in what's happening, especially after the fight between Naruto and Delta. The artwork and storytelling throughout their fierce battle went above and beyond in displaying emotion and just how dangerous the situation was. Kawaki's training marks the start of his inevitable fight with Boruto, which is something I'm excited to see how it progresses. The major revelation sets up a darker turn for the series that will surely have people talking. I haven't been this excited about a manga series for quite some time.

This graphic novel does an incredible job of supporting representation for the LGBTQ community, which correlates with June being Pride Month. Maroh's artwork adds a lot of emotion to the story that elevated the graphic novel to new heights. The writing feels personal, which is something I'm sure many readers will appreciate.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Volume 13. The change of pace in this volume to include more action was a major highlight. With Demon Slayer as the series' title, it's hard to imagine that it doesn't involve more than its fair share of action... The series' aesthetic and artwork continues to be a major element that carries the series forward. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

I'm excited to see how this is adapted into the anime series in the future. The immense character development from many of the League members is something I want to see more of down the road.

I haven't felt this excited about a villain since reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and seeing Voldemort come back in full form. It's incredible to see that any work of literature still has this effect on me.

I know it's only three issues in, but I'm already referring to this as one of my favorite comic series.

For this being a continuation of Grossman's original work, the series has found a way to distinguish itself from anything seen before but that sense of familiarity isn't completely gone.

Given that the Masters of the Universe franchise was a major component of my childhood, it's incredible to see that it still has a major place in the realm of comic books in 2019. This has easily become one of the best comic book series that I have read in 2019. The manner in which it deals with themes of death, loss of innocence, and friendship was incredibly well done. Gogol created a comic that I was able to dive in and walk out feeling amazed.

Overall, the creative team has once again delivered a phenomenal issue. The friendship is already starting to have issues without Ben to lead. I'm hoping that they'll come out of this but it wouldn't surprise me if the challenges only get bigger from here on out. The ending of Dead End Kids #2 surely elevates the stakes of the entire series as a whole. It propels the story to become an even bigger mystery and makes it clear that Amanda, Tank, and Murphy are not safe. I look forward to reading the next issue of this amazing comic series.

Overall, I really enjoyed No One Left to Fight #2. Sitterson continues to develop his characters very well and has managed to make me root harder for Timr than Vle. It's such an intricate story with phenomenal artwork from Ossio that tackles life after your purpose in life has been served. I'm hoping that the next issues go into this even more. It's not often I see stories being written about heroes who must adapt to regular life after they have saved the world from every great danger possible.

Aside from the part of the comic in the middle that was a bit confusing, it did an incredible job setting up the direction that the entire series will take. Given the way the comic ended, learning more about Izzy will surely be a highlight of the series. The sinister force that's after her showed just how terrifying and dangerous he can be. It looks like Izzy and The Vulture are in for quite a road trip and I will surely be picking up future issues.

It's exciting to know that the comic series was extended for another six issues. Although this issue felt like the story was wrapping up, the end made makes it clear that there's so much more to be told. Things are looking quite grim for both Summer and Miguel. I'm excited to see how they manage to deal with their respective dilemmas and what steps they take to become heroes. I have no doubt that the creative team will deliver another phenomenal six issues.

I could not have imagined a better way for this Year One arc to have ended. It not only retold the story of Barry Allen from a different perspective but it helps embody who he is as The Flash. The ending of the arc sets up the future dangers that Barry will have to deal with. From the looks of things, he'll be in for quite a challenge as many sinister forces will be coming after him. The short snippet at the end teases a deadly alliance that will prove to be quite challenging for Barry.

Quentin's story focuses on magic and quests while Alice's point-of-view is much more grounded. It's the perspective that follows a more logical approach rather than just accepting all of these magical elements as they are. I'm hoping that the other two books get similar adaptations since this one proved to add more to a set story.

The Flash #74 finds a way to balance emotion, fight scenes, and moments of doubt in such a unique way that hasn't been done in a long time. The ending perfectly sets up what will surely be an eventful conclusion to this incredible arc.It's a bittersweet moment knowing that the next issue will be the conclusion of the “Year One” arc. But I for one am very grateful to have read each installment in the arc as it progressed.

After just one issue, this has quickly become one of my favorite current comic series. Aside from the inspiration, the premise is what really drew me in. There are countless stories about the glory days of heroes but rarely do we get glimpses of what happens after everything is done. I'm not quite sure what to expect out of the rest of the series, but this struggle about what to do after fulfilling a major purpose in life is an intriguing theme.

Things are finally starting to get serious for Miguel. The ending will surely leave readings eager to find out what Miguel will do next. His journey to becoming a true hero is about to take the next step. I'm hoping that the doesn't sidetrack the incredible plot development that his character has been given. Even though he still thinks that Superman can only help him, Miguel's about to find out that he needs to be his own hero.

Things are getting even more serious and I am honestly on the edge of my seat waiting to read what happens next. The creative team is continuously making a memorable Year One story. Barry's character has been written well by Williamson throughout the entire arc. It gives an interesting new take on a hero that has made such an impact on my life. The ending has set up quite an interesting challenge for Barry to deal with. But one thing is for sure, this will be one of the fiercest challenges of his entire career of being The Flash.

The creative team has delivered yet another phenomenal chapter to this Year One story arc. Barry found the necessary confidence to face off against his first major villain. He's also able to spend time with those he cares for and balance his life. But the way this issue ended will surely make Barry realize that not everything about being a hero is simple. It'll be interesting to see both what sort of lessons Barry learns from this and what sort of difficulties will arise from the introduction of another major Flash rouge.

After reading this comic, I am more than willing to declare that this is one of the best comic book series that I have have had the pleasure of reviewing. From the incredible aspects that went into world-building, to the premise of two main characters attempting to expose corruption, and the themes that it covers, this series has constantly left me wanting more.

I can say with full confidence that I had a blast reading this comic. On top of the unique portrayal of causing bad luck as a power, the overall story is just fantastic. The creative team has done a phenomenal job in creating an intriguing series. There's no doubt that the story is about to pick up very quickly.

With this being the end of the mini-series, readers will most likely be satisfied with its ending. Whether it's the humor, the further development of its central characters, the representation of gays characters, or just simply wanting to know how the story ends, readers will definitely be in for a treat. This series has found a way to include coming-of-age tropes and combine it with fairytale elects to create a phenomenal series.

Everything about Dead End Kids #1 was done well and the entire creative team may have just created one of my favorite comic series of all time. Overall, I truly believe that this is a comic series that would fit well as a John Hughes-like movie.

Like the previous four issues, this new installment did not disappoint. It was an enjoyable read that hasn't lost the spark that's made this series a must-read. It continues to shine a light on the LGBTQ+ community and does an excellent job showing how close this basketball team has become. The issue also includes stories that focus on other characters, which erases any belief that this would just focus on a romantic relationship blossoming and the formation of a basketball team. It will surely be interesting to see where the series goes from here.

Dial H For Hero #3 has also made great use of side characters and the hero designs have been just as incredible as before. With only a few issues left, it's acceptable to assume that the series will dive into the plot completely. All hands on deck for the rest of the series.

I can't say I enjoyed reading the conclusion toScooby Apocalypse. From the quick plot progression, anticlimactic battle, and just overall lack of emotion, it's sad seeing one of my favorite series ending like this. This has been one of the best adaptations of theScooby-Doo series since the Cartoon Network showMysteryIncorporated. It's what I always imagined the series would evolve into. I'd love to go back and read the series one day, but the way it ended, I might just have to hold off for a while.

With all of this in mind, I can say I had a blast reading this comic. It's found a way to make the story feel original and does a fantastic job with creating a story that will have people eager for more.
