Big Hero Six: The Series #1
Nov 13, 2019 |
Overall, I really enjoyed reading Big Hero 6: The Series #1. It built upon the already established elements in previous material while also promising to build more in this universe. The ending of the main story sets up the second issue in a much more traditional sense by adding a cliffhanger but it's very effective. The short story at the end was quite funny, especially since it shows a new version of BayMax. I look forward to seeing how the rest of the series plays out. |

I really enjoyed reading this issue and I'm continuously impressed with every installment of the series. Part of what I like about the series is that the character of Tim's reminds me so much of Harry Potter. Since Gaiman's work was released first, it wouldn't surprise me if some inspiration from Tim was placed upon Harry. Regardless, this series continues to give a great story and will undoubtedly continue to do so. |

Overall, I really enjoyed reading the first issue of Coffin Bound #1. Aside from the part of the comic in the middle that was a bit confusing, it did an incredible job setting up the direction that the entire series will take. Given the way the comic ended, learning more about Izzy will surely be a highlight of the series. The sinister force that's after her showed just how terrifying and dangerous he can be. It looks like Izzy and The Vulture are in for quite a road trip and I will surely be picking up future issues. |

The ending of Dead End Kids #2 surely elevates the stakes of the entire series as a whole. No One Left To Fight #2
Aug 9, 2019 |
Overall, I really enjoyed No One Left to Fight #2. Sitterson continues to develop his characters very well and has managed to make me root harder for Timr than Vle. It's such an intricate story with phenomenal artwork from Ossio that tackles life after your purpose in life has been served. I'm hoping that the next issues go into this even more. It's not often I see stories being written about heroes who must adapt to regular life after they have saved the world from every great danger possible. |

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations #8
Mar 30, 2020 |
Overall, I really enjoyed reading Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Volume 8. It took a while for me to get fully invested in the series, especially since the first few chapters were a retelling of the movie that had come out a few years ago. However, I got fully invested once Kara was revealed and Kawaki was finally introduced. His character is showing progression throughout this volume and I'm sure he'll continue to grow. |

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations #9
Aug 16, 2020 |
Overall, I really enjoyed reading Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Volume 9. As I mentioned in my review of Volume 8, I was skeptical about starting the series. However, I'm fully invested in what's happening, especially after the fight between Naruto and Delta. The artwork and storytelling throughout their fierce battle went above and beyond in displaying emotion and just how dangerous the situation was. Kawaki's training marks the start of his inevitable fight with Boruto, which is something I'm excited to see how it progresses. The major revelation sets up a darker turn for the series that will surely have people talking. I haven't been this excited about a manga series for quite some time. |

With all of this in mind, I can say I had a blast reading this comic. It's found a way to make the story feel original and does a fantastic job with creating a story that will have people eager for more. My only fear is that this will quickly fall into a generic action story that does no justice for the female lead. Regardless, I'm very much looking forward to the next issue. |

However, I am going to continue with the comic and highly recommend it if you are a Doctor Who fan and are enjoying what they've been doing so far with series 11. It captures the essence of the current series completely. As a comic fan and a fan of the series, I'm excited to see where it goes. |

Overall, I really enjoyed readingHeart Attack #1. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the premise of the series captured my attention. It's incredible for a creative team to create a comic that involves such topical issues in a way that doesn't take away their importance. I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series plays out. |

I really enjoyed readingOUTLAWED #1 and I'm excited to see how the rest of the series turns out. Although I was skeptical of this series because of its premise, I was blown away with how everything played out. The teen heroes will surely have a rough time trying to convince the public that they're not as big of a threat as some claim them to be |

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this comic. It's something new in the superhero genre that is shaping up to tackle themes like personal and family identity. Hunter's artwork makes the characters unique and provided an interesting perspective on what heroes and villains look like. Young's writer carries the comic forward with its reckless but ambitious central character. I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series goes, especially with the big reveal at the end of this issue. This is definitely a comic series that I will be following and I highly recommend it. |

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this issue. It always surprises me to know that this hasn't been adapted into a movie or a live-action show yet. Many comics are getting this treatment, which only makes me want this even more. I eagerly await the next issue. |

Scooby Apocalypse #36
Apr 10, 2019 |
I can't say I enjoyed reading the conclusion toScooby Apocalypse. From the quick plot progression, anticlimactic battle, and just overall lack of emotion, it's sad seeing one of my favorite series ending like this. This has been one of the best adaptations of theScooby-Doo series since the Cartoon Network showMysteryIncorporated. It's what I always imagined the series would evolve into. I'd love to go back and read the series one day, but the way it ended, I might just have to hold off for a while. |

Overall, I quite enjoyed reading this comic. Like I said, it does seem a bit predictable in terms of who the villain could probably be, but the way the comic ended automatically leaves me wanting to find out what comes next. We'll get to see the agents dealing with a new mission and see how they function as a team. I'll definitely be on the lookout for the next issue. |

Despite the issues I have with this comic, I'm optimisticabout what's to come. It seems like the story will dive deeper into Shredder's character as he continues to deal with his inner struggle. Part of what attracted me to the series was the intensely fantastic fight scenes. Hopefully, there'll be some of those in further installments. |

The Walking Dead #186

It'll be interesting to see how the conflict is handled in later issues. I hope it doesn't lead to another war. At this point, I think the comic has overstayed its welcome. It would be interesting to see more communities coming together and rebuilding society a bit more. There could still be conflict and even wars, but the fact that every new community they meet seems to be evil is getting old. The series suffers from having been around since 2003. I'm just not sure how much more story there's left to tell. |

Overall, I'm still not quite content with the direction the comic is going. This could be because of how long it's been running. But you can only take on so many groups before it starts getting old. Hope this saga adds more ingenuity. |
