As freedom and democracy flourish, the animals work together to set up a steady stream of donations for the pound, and all seems well for a time.

Animal Pound #3 is probably the best issue thus far, showcasing the real word parallels behind this Animal Farm inspired take on democracy and the state of the world today. Read Full Review
Animal Pound #3 is a solid issue taking us through various governments and what they bring to the table. The slide to where things go is slow but looking back, you can see the start of it all and the why of it all. Where things go next will be key and interesting but overall, the series is a wonderful new and updated take on a classic tale. Read Full Review
It's an impressive looking comic book that, having arrived at its thesis, becomes a much more interesting and exciting read. Read Full Review
King uses this issue to set up his Trump allegory in Piggy. It works very well. If you're an American who's been tuned into politics, everything in this issue should be familiar. From the regressions of rights and the divided nature of the pound's residents, to the dogs calling themselves Stormers. Remember who *stormed* the Capitol on January 6th. Even the hushed and quiet excitement at the election of an unproven, crass, fat and vaguely entertaining capitalist. The rabbits, of course, represent the most vulnerable in society and the ending is appropriately harrowing in that context. Everyone should be reading this. It's fantastic.
I didn't really like this one as much as the first two. It does show promise with quite the cliffhanger, but some of the stuff you really have to suspend belief and it just felt like a bit if a chore to read.
It's SO dry and so dull to read this and I have said it from the start. It's a real chore and I honestly just cant wait for it to finish and be done.
