I would have to say that Wicked Things #1 was nothing I expected. Instead it has a character with enough attitude and personality to provide a great first issue for this series. It also manages to deliver on its title as well. Something wicked is going on which isn't good for Charlotte. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke Mar 17, 2020

I had a blast reading Wicked Things and following the quirky and at times funny Charlotte who stumbles into things with impeccable grace. Wicked Things has a cleverness that's as cheerfully contagious as it is endearing. Read Full Review

Graphic Policy - Logan Dalton Mar 19, 2020

If you like slow burn, character-driven mystery stories with quirky leads, then Wicked Things is the comic for you. The sheer absurdity of a teen detective awards show and convention makes it a showcase for comedy and fashion choices. (Claire rocks the Fleabag jumpsuit.) But, hey, there's murder too. ComicBook.com - Chase Magnett Mar 18, 2020

Wicked Things doesn't appear interested in reinventing the model of the teen detective story, but it's certainly ready to tell that familiar mode of story as well as comics can deliver it. Read Full Review

Comics Bookcase - Zack Quaintance Mar 18, 2020

With Wicked Things #1, the strength of the first half alone sold me on the series. The rate of jokes falls somewhat sharply in the second half of the book, as the story must do the more demanding work of building its plot engine, but the concept is clever and the characters clear. I recommend this one, especially for fans of the creators last book, Giant Days. Read Full Review
