Enni's Batman is dark twisted and I shudder to think what his dark laugh sounds like, and with his script layered with the visceral work that Sharp has put it, I can't wait for the finale. Read Full Review

As always, Sharp delivers impressive, hyper detailed illustrations to create his disturbing vision of Gotham City. The pages give off an eerie, dark tone that perfectly expresses the mood of the story and captures the imagination of the readers. Read Full Review

The art, as always, is fantastic in Batman: Reptilian #5, however, it feels like the storyline has paused a little. To me, this issue felt more like Batman talking about a theory and thinking of a plan on the fly, and then diving in headfirst without doing much of said thinking. Then again, Batman doesn't always share his train of thought until the end, so we'll just have to find out in a few weeks to see how wrong or right things go for him. Read Full Review

This is issue #5 of a 6-issue series. If you've enjoyed Reptilian so far, then I'm sure you'll enjoy this. If you haven't, you won't. It's really that simple. Read Full Review

Oh-so satirical and so much fun. The art continues to amaze, especially the panels of the creature, or as Batman calls it, “Junior.” This fifth chapter started working to our complete payoff of the story and thus far, it’s landing quite fantastically. Really looking forward to the conclusion of this one.

When I first started reading this series I felt a sense of certainty I would regret it in some way. I was right...kinda. But definitely not in a way I ever expected.

This is such weird series, but I find it far more entertaining than anything else DC is doing with Batman.

First half it's pretty cringe but it really gets better after that. This is a series where if instead of Sharp it would've been someone like, say Rossmo, on art I would have dropped it but Sharp got me through and at times it does get better. This Batman is definitely more like a parody but still retains a heroic side to him.

Frankly I don't know what to think of this anymore. It's been getting a bit too weird. Though it's more interesting by far than Fear State (The only real fear there is that it will never end). It is more worth getting than any other Batman book now (Except the Adventures continue).
I hope though the conclusion will be more interesting than this issue was.
