Theoretically, something like this could actually take a couple of years to bring across with the kind of detail that it really deserves. Heist fiction is a lot of fun. But it's very difficult to bring across the complexity of it in sequential art without over simplifying things to a great degree. And so it feels a little rushed. The artwork continues to be good. But that's about it. The story is completely off the rails. I love Rucka, but he must have been on some serious drugs to write this. An all-girl team (I'm not calling Klarion a man) tries to steal a box that holds all of the JL's powers. (WTF) Even in a fantasy world putting powers that range from genetics, to powers bestowed by the Gods, or a ring from another planet, makes zero sense. I'm going to see it through tot he end, but this story is just plain bad.
