This issue is sort of the calm before the storm of next issue's full infiltration, but there are a lot of very clever moments and great character beats through the issue. Read Full Review

But it's very difficult to bring across the complexity of it in sequential art without over simplifying things to a great degree. And so it feels a little rushed. However, that actually plays really well into the pacing of a story that Rucka seems remarkably well-poised to deliver. Read Full Review

Never have I rooted for the villains, but Greg Rucka's expert writing makes me want to root for the villains to rob the Justice League
The artwork continues to be good. But that's about it. The story is completely off the rails. I love Rucka, but he must have been on some serious drugs to write this. An all-girl team (I'm not calling Klarion a man) tries to steal a box that holds all of the JL's powers. (WTF) Even in a fantasy world putting powers that range from genetics, to powers bestowed by the Gods, or a ring from another planet, makes zero sense. I'm going to see it through tot he end, but this story is just plain bad.
