Danger Street #6 ties up a bunch of loose ends while putting all of its characters on intense cliffhangers. The art team steals the show with a fantastic cover that is worth the price of admission alone. Read Full Review
Overall, we're halfway through and just starting to scratch the surface, but damn if this series isn't still fascinating. Read Full Review
After a fast-paced issue, Danger Street #6 slows things down while upping the stakes to doomsday proportions. The focus on the setup as things get set for the final push of the story makes this a little middling, but make no mistake, this series continues to be the most interesting adult take on superheroes in comics today. Danger Street #6 makes it clear that this miniseries is designed to be read as a whole (and hopefully will only be published as a 12-issue collection) because the middle chapters are merely that. Characters and plot threads continue to be slowly woven together in a format that promises big revelations and conflicts to come, but they aren't found in these pages. Read Full Review
It seems like people are getting impatient, which is fair since we're halfway through the series. But I'm enjoying the various mini-stories happening in this narrative. The biggest gripe I have is just how much these characters curse. Not because I'm against cursing, I curse a lot. But it is genuinely annoying to read so many censored words over and over and over again. There are points where the dialogue simply loses its flow as you try to plug in the proper expletive that both sounds right and isn't just a repeat of the last several expletives from that same character.

I keep hoping that this series gets better, but this issue was the most boring to date. I am reserving my rating for the entire series, presuming that I stick with it.
