Final Thoughts: Hector Hammond is a voyeur, but it works for the character. Johns continues to prove that bringing back Hal was a good idea, and van Sciver's art really sold the story and made me uncomfortable. The only real complaint I had was I could have gone my entire life without the mental image of someone hosing Hammond down to get him clean. Thanks, Geoff. No sleep for a week for me. Hal basically talks to Kilowog, talks to General Stone, and talks to Hector Hammond. Talk, talk, talk. Good dialogue, dont get me wrong, but this is Green Lantern! I want big splosions man! Hopefully well get more of that next issue, although it will take some great writing to convince me that some shark-man has any business trying to take on a Green Lantern. Fortunately, this is Geoff Johns were talking about. Great writing is his bread and butter. Read Full Review
