Lobo invades the world of Injustice in "The Main Man Among Us." When Superman's world was cruelly taken from him, his retribution was swift. But one of the perpetrators is still out there, and her freedom gnaws at him. But The Man of Steel can't spend time tracking down one person-not when the entire world needs him. So he enlists the help of Lobo, one of the greatest bounty hunters in the universe, to track down a now super-powered Harley Quinn!

We've gone two months without anything new from the INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US universe and thankfully, this annual issue is more than enough to tide us over until the series returns in January. You know how you loved the Harley Quinn and Green Arrow team-up back in Year One? It's basically like that, but instead of being crammed into a digital copy, it's fleshed out in an annual-sized issue and throws in plenty of wackiness with Lobo. It's absurd in all the right ways and is sure to keep you laughing. Oh, and that ending? It seems like something so crazy that it could only happen in a fan fiction. And, you know what? It's pure awesome. Talk about ending on a high note, right? Read Full Review

The ending was also perfect. A "I really want to see what happens next" moment that we'll probably never see played out, but I can imagine how it will go and that's good enough for me. This is a highly recommended issue, I'm going to have to hunt down the 1st 12 issues of this series (also available digitally on-line), and I'm adding Year Two to my pull list. Read Full Review

So, what else is there to say? Gosh, everything. If I thought it'd interest anyone I'd gush over every panel of every page, that's how much I enjoyed this comic. However, I feel that I've said enough, and hopefully this will convince you to pick up the annual (and if you're smart, and a DC fan, you'll grab the e Read Full Review

I loved this issue. Whereas people have had mixed reactions about the new 52, I think readers will find that Injustice retains a classic sentimentality of the old DC. Tom Taylor is an underrated writer, mostly due to the forum of his skills, but readers will find a lot to like about Injustice, both in its story and its art. Read Full Review

    Comicosity - Matt Santori Nov 13, 2013

A fun interlude in an ongoing tale that could easily suffer for its darkness, the Injustice Annual continues the fantastic character work with which Taylor has infused the series, and kicks it up a notch. In a world where a literal headhunter is sent to take down a clowns unwitting accomplice, you gotta appreciate a fake mustache. And if you cant find humor in that, theres ultimately no more hope for us than for the heroes in this comic. Read Full Review

Analog Addiction - Jideobi Odunze Nov 16, 2013

Overall, this Annual is in every way as exciting as the main books. Tom Taylor has an excellent grasp on what makes Harley such a fun character that she can hold her own story. Smart, cynical, humorous, and now just as kick ass as those with powers thanks to that pill. This story is a testament to how amazing Taylor is as a writer and this story is a must read if you are a fan of the series. Both for the story and the art which Xermanico does astonishingly. Some things from a distance looked a bit lacking, but everything else in focus looks so real and alive. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jess Camacho Nov 15, 2013

I often times do not do this, because I think drawing a comic book is tough, but I hated the art in this so much. It was really inconsistent. Lobo was the only consistently draw character. Faces looked a bit weird in some panels and even the mannequin that Harley's old costume was on was strange looking. I also didn't like Superman's suit. The big S on the front looked like a massive plate that he's wearing. It was clearly three dimensional and so it felt wrong. I'm upset over it because this was almost perfect except for the huge issues with the art. Read Full Review

Whether you've been enjoying the main Injustice series or simply crave a more classic take on Lobo and Harley, this is a comic well worth reading. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Nov 13, 2013

Injustice: Gods Among Us Annual #1 is just plain fun.  The introduction of Lobo and the return of Harley Quinn spell fun and excitement to old and new readers alike.  The wait until the return of Injustice in 2014 will be a hard one, but this Annual made it a little more bearable. This is a great little one-shot and nice return to form for Lobo. The character may have gotten a makeover in the New 52 but this issue is a love letter to the original with a bad-ass finale and plenty of laughs throughout. Read Full Review
