Superman has battled against an army of Green Lanterns and the assembled forces of magic and remained standing. But how will he fare against the Gods themselves?
One chapter into Year Four and I'm already on the trolley. The Year of the Gods may start low-key, but Brain Buccellato uses his time wisely to get everyone up to speed and then Bam! He nails us all with crazy dual cliffhangers. It was also a treat to have Bruno Redondo's art making everything look so good. I recommend this to everyone, but especially those who have been on the fence with Injustice so far. Highly Recommended. Read Full Review

The fourth year of Injustice gets off the ground in a good way by spending most of its time showing us the position of the two "generals" of this war and where things stand after the third year series. There's some good establishing of things here that sets the tone well and it does feel like a solid continuation of where we left off, just with the angle shifting from that of magic and the cast there to that of the gods and what they bring to the table. That'll give Diana an increased role likely, and provide Superman with a different challenge and some real problems for Batman as well, one might suspect. The book reads very well and is definitely solid in the art department in giving it a clean easily accessible look while also changing things up lightly here and there. A very fun read that has me looking forward to more of this series. Read Full Review

If Year Three shook your confidence in the Injustice world a little, let this new beginning restore your faith. Read Full Review

After all of Year Three's magical tomfoolery, it's nice to see this series get back to basics. Despite a clunky opening, this issue takes a character-first approach and begins building a compelling new foundation for the penultimate chapter of this prequel saga. Read Full Review
This starts out with some mediocre writing. I hope it was just a rough start.
More bland tie-in material. WB should just cut the crap and sell advertisements for Injustice 2 instead. They'll get more 10/10s from IGN that way.
