Writer Peter Milligan continues to define this series as one of the best New 52 series out there. Mikel Janins art continues to wow me with how great it is. Together, they could be great if they were in the Justice League Dark. Read Full Review

A Comic Book Blog - Geoff Arbuckle Dec 28, 2011

Justice League Dark, despite the pacing of getting the so-called “team” together, is easily one of my top 5 New 52 books and anyone who likes horror comics should check out these issues. They definitely make for some serious creep factor. Read Full Review

Justice League Dark #4 is great. I don't know what else I can say in praise of this series. Maybe I'm getting spoiled though. While this is a fantastic book with some gorgeously terrifying images and decent character development, there is not a ton new this time. We are finally starting to see the team pull together and reveal some of the secrets going on, but there is a sense of holding back, stalling almost, until the time is right. Comic Book Resources - Kelly Thompson Jan 1, 2012

This series still isn't doing everything it should be, in large part because there are just so many characters on the board, but the story is interesting, the characters compelling, and the art improving by leaps and bounds with every issue. Read Full Review

When you don't get/don't care about the story in a comic, that's a pretty good indicator of what kind of a score it's going to get. I was happy that we had more from the characters I actually care about here, but I'm still going to be VERY happy to see this storyline end, hopefully as soon as the next issue. Read Full Review

Weekly Comic Book Review - Minhquan Nguyen Dec 30, 2011

One more issue just to see where this title is going, and I think I'll probably be done. It's gotten too hard to overlook the problems with the story, and it simply lacks the subtlety and richness its brethren "Dark" titles has. Read Full Review
