One of the most ambitious DC Elseworlds projects in a while, this double-sized finale of Mystik U packs a lot into one package and brings the story of this DC magic academy with a sinister twist to a satisfying close. Read Full Review
This final issue of Mystik U is a well-written ride, even as it feels a little rushed at the end. Alisa Kwitney continues to show her knack for writing smart, strong, capable characters, and though it's the end, for now, this is definitely a universe worth revisiting again. If you're a fan of the mystical side of the DCU, this is well-worth a read. Read Full Review
Something I should definitely praise the writers on is even though there's foreshadowing as to who is the source of the Malevolence is, the appearance of it is unexpected. The way things play out went in a direction I didn't expect. During the middle of this issue I was worried I would predict the ending totally, but that didn't happen. Mystik U #3 is a great finale to a fun and unique DC series, or at least its first chapter. Read Full Review
Hopefully, we won't have to wait too long for a sequel to this short run. Read Full Review
In spite of the history and nature of this story, this was a decent mini-series that may have felt rushed and forced at times but still made me smile at points. With the proper time to grow and develop, this may have been really good, but as it is, it was a quirky book that tapped into the dark side of the DCU while also feeling like a comic book equivalent to Harry Potter. If those two things are your bag, check it out. Read Full Review
great limited series that helps develop Zatanna as a character
The end of the road & the revelation about Mavelence. And I didn't enjoy it ... Well not quite true I like some part like the kids relationship. But I didn't like all the rest. And the end is too easy.
Cover - Related in some way. Well drawn, but not my taste. 1.5/2
Story - I didn't like it much. I like some minor part through. 1.5/3
Arts - It's not always strong, but it's a good job. 2/3
Feelings - I waited another story form Zatanna & C°. 0/2
