Review for the whole book. This was good, I read it a very, very long time ago and just re-read it right now and it's good, it's just... not as good as people remember it. The Bizarro issue is by far the best.

Just a massive expositional word barf of a story. Showing with some telling. Jor-El Jedi downloads all of Kryptonian history into Superman's mind. It's such a weak plot device. Ultimately, what I walk away from this is that Clark is a POS and should have been with Lana. Lois is and has always been not the best fit for Clark. Kal maybe but not Clark and this version of Superman is Clark first. This whole mini series is all over the place in terms of pacing and story quality. The art throughout it amazing though. For all of Byrne's shortcomings from his writing, he makes up for it by being one of the best ever as an artist.
